Helping the Shona Children of Africa
Our Mission
FulKan Foundation’s Mission is to nourish and empower Shona communities by supporting sustainable development initiatives. We are committed to:
· Feeding Children: Providing nutritious meals and traditional drinks like Maheu or tea weekly, and expanding to include staple foods such as sadza, rice, or spaghetti, ensuring children aged two to twelve receive essential nourishment.
· Supporting Church Building: Assisting in the construction and maintenance of places of worship to foster community and spiritual growth.
· Promoting Education: Supplying uniforms and educational materials to primary school students to enhance access and engagement in learning.
· Economic Empowerment: Distributing funds, clothing, and stationary to individuals in need, fostering financial stability and educational advancement.
· Community Wellbeing: Delivering groceries and sanitary pads to promote health and dignity, particularly among vulnerable groups like girls in need.
· Sustainable Agriculture: Implementing farming projects that yield livestock (goats, cattle, pigs, free-range chickens) and garden vegetables, ensuring sustainable food sources and economic opportunities.
· Infrastructure Development: Constructing essential facilities such as cooking and food serving shades, livestock shelters, and fish ponds, and providing raw materials for community development projects.
Through these initiatives, we aim to create a sustainable impact, fostering self-reliance and resilience within the communities we serve.
